TITUSVILLE, Fla. — A lady with an open bottle of Jack Daniel’s whiskey in a bag was arrested for driving a golf cart on Florida’s busiest interstate whereas drunk, in line with an arrest report.
The 58-year-old girl was arrested Saturday night time on the shoulder of Interstate 95. She is now dealing with misdemeanor fees of disorderly intoxication in a public place and resisting an officer with out violence.
Based on a Florida Freeway Patrol report, a semitruck driver noticed the lady driving within the golf cart within the middle lane of Interstate 95 in Brevard County, which is the center of Florida’s Area Coast. The truck driver used her semi to steer the golf cart driver to the shoulder of the interstate, troopers mentioned.
As soon as on the shoulder, the truck driver grabbed the keys to the golf cart as the lady tried to drive away. As soon as troopers arrived on the scene, the lady began arguing with them and insisted she wanted her bag. Contained in the bag, troopers discovered an open bottle of Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Fireplace Whiskey, authorities mentioned.
