A Baxter Academy pupil was reported to police on Thursday for carrying a black tactical vest with what seemed to be rifle cartridges connected to the vest when getting into a faculty bus.
The 17-year-old pupil was reported to the college by a bus driver, and Baxter Academy officers then referred to as police, in line with Maj. Robert Martin of the Portland Police Division.
As soon as officers have been capable of assess what the coed was carrying, it was decided that the cartridges connected to the vest have been airsoft rifle cartridges. The coed was not in possession of a firearm or airsoft rifle on the time, however had CO2 canisters and a butterfly knife, in line with Martin.
Whereas there have been roughly 20 college students on board the bus on the time that the coed was reported, nobody was injured.
The coed was launched into the custody of his dad and mom, and an investigation has been opened to find out whether or not the coed will face any prison fees.
