
N’Keal Harry’s once-promising-turned-disappointing profession with the New England Patriots seems to be over.
In line with the NFL Community’s Mike Garafalo, Harry, who would have needed to battle to make the Patriots out of coaching camp, is headed to the Chicago Bears. Garafolo tweeted:
“The #Patriots have traded WR N’Keal Harry to the #Bears, sources inform me and @RapSheet. Former first-round choose will get a shot at a contemporary begin.”
In line with ESPN’s Mike Reiss, the Patriots will get a seventh-round choose in 2024 and picked up $1 million in salary-cap house.
Harry, the Patriots’ first-round choose within the 2019 draft, battled damage and inconsistency all through his New England profession. He had 57 catches for 598 yards and 4 touchdowns in his three seasons. He missed 16 video games throughout that point, as a result of damage and being a wholesome scratch.
The Patriots declined their fifth-year choice on Harry in Might. He would have been assured $12.425 million for subsequent season if New England had picked up the choice. Harry caught 12 passes for 184 yards and was a wholesome scratch at one level in favor of practice-squad member Kristian Wilkerson.
The Patriots traded for DeVante Parker, drafted Tyquan Thornton and signed Lil’Jordan Humphrey, making Harry a longshot to make the staff.
