WEST PARIS, Maine — A Maine teen risked getting sprayed as a way to assist a skunk that was operating round in the course of the highway with a cup caught on its head in West Paris.
Becky Ball mentioned that she and her 16-year-old son, Carlton Dailey, had been driving on Route 219 Thursday morning after they noticed a skunk within the highway with a cup on its head.
“My son advised me to cease on our strategy to work this morning so he can assist the skunk out. I advised him he was loopy, ‘If he sprays, you’ll stroll dwelling,’” Ball joked.
However Carlton wasn’t afraid of being sprayed and sprang into motion. He was capable of pull the cup off the skunk’s head and the skunk went on its merry means with out spraying the teenager.
“As he will get again in my automotive, he says, ‘See mother. He is aware of I used to be serving to,’” Ball mentioned.
